What Is In Season?

While we are mostly an apricot farm, we do grow other crops throughout the year - in much smaller quantities.

 

We also offer mixed bouquets as well as seasonal handmade wreaths.

LATE MAY / JUNE

*   Boysenberries -

      - used to make our low-sugar        fruit sauce

*   Peaches - small quantities

*   Sweet Pea bouquets

LATE JUNE / EARLY JULY

*   Royal Blenheim Apricot season

This winter the trees did not receive enough chill hours so they did not bloom and therefore we do not have any apricots to offer this summer.  The trees will have a year of rest & we will look forward to next year.

JULY

*   Plums

Please note that our plums seem to bear fruit every other year.

AUGUST

Farmer Don & Breana dedicate the entire month of August to pruning the apricot trees.  This is the driest time of year and helps slow the spread of Eutypa Dieback that some of the apricot trees have.

 We grow both Hachiya & Fuyu            Persimmons & dehydrate the          Hachiyas for a delicious snack.
